Summer Show

by Learn To Play Live

PaL Arts Festival, Sunday 17th July at The Peace Centre, Warrington (WA5 1HQ).  Doors open at 2pm.

There are fourteen pieces of music being performed, each by a unique band of LTPL pupils from all over the North West.  Your little rock star should already have been practising their piece, so you know what they will be playing.  The set list is as follows:

2.20 - Dreams

2.30 - 1999

2.40 - Jurassic Park

2.55 - Black Magic

3.10 - Danger Zone

3.20 - I Want Your Love

3.30 - 8 Days a Week

3.50 - Walk the Dinosaur

4.00 - Let's Dance

4.10 - Born to be Wild

4.25 - Tracks of my Tears

4.40 - That's Life

4.50 - I Want to Break Free

5.00 - Lyin' Eyes

Please make sure that you are at the venue 20 minutes before they are due to perform.  The summer festival is much less formal than our winter showcase, with no backstage area.  The song due to start next will be announced and performers will need to make themselves known to one of our staff in the performance area.  They will play / sing their piece and then are free to go.  Everyone is welcome to stay as long as they like to watch other performances.

We will have some spare ukuleles as well as drum kits and keyboards, but if you play anything else please make sure you have your instrument with you.  Performers will need their copy of the sheet music too.  There is no dress code, just whatever they feel comfortable wearing.

Entry costs £4 for all spectators, charged on the door – there are no tickets so you do not need to book in advance.  Please note that this is an informal event, which means that the audience is free to come and go as you please.  It also means that it is possible for you to take photographs or video of your little rock star if you so desire.  All we ask is that you do not post your images or video on social media if they contain children other than your own.  Parking is free at the Peace Centre on Sundays, but the car park fills up very quickly so please leave plenty of time to find a space somewhere.  We look forward to seeing you there.
